Australia & Fiji: Systems of Learning Across Cultural Contexts

Course Description

Students will study education systems in three cultures, Australia, Fiji and the United States. Students will learn about cultural and systemic effects on learning and teaching prior to traveling during the four pre-departure meetings. During the study abroad portion of the course the students will travel to observe the learning of Australian and Fijian education by observing, planning and teaching in an Australian school. The two main foci of the course are Culture and Learning systems.
